May was a small, pleasingly skinny girl of twenty-one, with a delicate, round face. She joined the Amazonia Boxing Club from Blake Mitchell University, where she was on the Womens Boxing Team., twice the national champions. May's pretty face was the home of sharp, brown eyes, inherited from her Vietnamese mother, and long black hair, the legacy of her Chinese father. These features distracted her opponents, male and female, from her strength and speed in the ring. May was nicknamed "The Lucky One," because such a small girl had the skill and power to land knockout punches that came out of nowhere.
Starting in college, May fell in love with guys and girls, always getting excited and giddy about the object of her affection. These affairs never lasted very long; May was focused on her grades and boxing.
After graduation, she found a job at a graphic design firm and fell in love with Desiree, one of the first girls she fought at the Amazonia.
They were similar in size and build, but Desiree was four years older and happily married to Peter, with whom she had a three year old daughter named Jill. Desiree had challenged May to a match, Desiree's usual procedure for acquiring a new female lover. When Desiree stuck to girls in her own weight class, she usually won by a knockout and then seduced the loser after the fight. So it was a surprise to everyone in Desiree's corner when May's left hook put Desiree to sleep late in round four.
May, as always, was thrilled by victory and turned on seeing her rag doll-limp challenger carried from the ring to the recovery room. The giddy feeling hit her strongly, but May held off on pursuing Desiree. The time wasn't perfect.
A week passed before May spoke to Desiree. Looking in her potential lover's eyes, May could see lust and anger coiled together, waiting for release.
"I want to fight you again!" May said.
"So you can knock me out again?" Desiree was sullen, but there was interest in her voice.
"Exactly. You were so cute and sexy on your back, out fucking cold!"
The girls melted into each others arms and kissed for a long minute. May pressed her mouth to Desiree's right ear.
"I'm going to knock you out so completely, you'll beg to be my bitch when you wake up!" whispered May, violently pushing Desiree from her. The older girl stumbled over her own feet and landed, ass first, on the gym mats. Instantly, Desiree sprang up and bolted away.
The rematch was shorter than the first bout by two rounds. Anger was clear in Desiree's face and she fought like an angry woman, precisely what May wanted. In the second, she started backing away from Desiree, who turned aggressive. Soon, May was pressed onto the ropes, taking a continual stream of body and head shots. May let her right arm drift away from her head. Desiree fired a right upper cut to May's chin.
The young Asian girl was stretched out on her feet and the ropes strained to hold her as May tilted out of the ring. For a few seconds she thought how sexy Desiree looked with her hair pulled back in a tight pony tail and she relaxed into blackness.
Through the ten count by Emma the Ref, May slumbered face down. Desiree trotted a full circle around the unconscious girl and then embraced Peter when Emma proclaimed her victory.
May and Desiree were lovers a few days later. While she had a place of her own, May spent a lot of time at Desiree and Peter's house, helping with domestic chores and baby Jill.
The vague, but recurring fear that Peter would, one day, not only have to share Desiree with another woman, but lose his wife to one, surfaced briefly for him. But after six months, the mental demon vanished. Without abandoning Desiree, May took up with Evan.
